turns out .. its normal :)

had one LONG day of work the other day .
after work we took a little ride and had a small dinner with my mom and nephew ( hes 2 .. today actually !! ).
we had a journey of building one of the tallest lego buildings ive ever built. and on one pee break i noticed minor spotting ... so faint i didnt know if it was lighting or my eyes or if it was really there . a little while later when i got home .. there was still some ..
When I arrived home I talked to James about it . He already read it in the baby book and knew everything was okay and normal :)
Also made me happy knowing he was studying on his off time . <3

First U.S !!!

well, we had our first ultra sound . :) got to see the little peanut .
unfortunatley daddy didnt :( because silly me.. grabbed the papers but forgot them at home so he had to run home fast n get them n when he got back I was already in.

Got a little scared when she said she had to do an internal exam ( because of the last time). But, turns out baby was just too little to get a full n accurate reading of his/her heartbeat . n because it was so small we didnt get a picture. :( next one tho !!! 

First baby. First post.

Well, it was about 3 weeks ago I found out I was pregnant. First reaction ... "now what ?". Luckily my partner is just as excited as I am ( if not more) and we cant wait.!

We have already had so much happen. When we first found out we had made our first doctors appointment.. only to get paperwork done to get refered to my family gyno. :) ( got our first ultrasound appointment ! Jan 6th, 2011. only 2 days away. were counting) .. about a 5 days after finding out our new news I experienced some cramping and was told earlier that day by the doctor to go to the emergency clinic if I do. so, after work its exactly what I did. 6 hours, 2 ultrasounds, another pregnancy test and 2 bloodwork..I had a doctor come in a tell me my pregnancy test and bloodwork both came back positive and 1 week pregnant... but the ultra sound showed nothing... I had a miscarriage. Devistated as we were... we left the hospital and told to return 3 days later for more bloodwork to confirm what he just told us... 3 days later we went for blood work and guess what ... WERE STILL PREGNANT ! :) the new doctor we seen that day confirmed a definate pregnancy and doesnt know what the first doctor was talking about... at that early of a pregnancy they wouldnt see anything anyways. We smiled the rest of the day ...

so, here we are a few weeks later with our baby ever changing and growing, food craving kicking in, bloating like you wouldnt believe and hormone crankiness like any other pregnant woman and super excited for our first ultrasound :) hopefully tomorrow goes by fast and the morning comes early !!
